ADVANCED OXIDATION PROCESS
Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP) uses low pressure UV and hydrogen peroxide to create oxygen and hydrogen (OH) radicals that purify the water. AOP is usually one of the final stages of wastewater treatment.
Industrial wastewaters are contaminated with organic substances that cannot be completely removed by most used wastewater treatment technologies. AOP has proved to be an effective solution for the removal of those compounds.
AOP creates OH-radicals which in turn oxidize particular matter in the water. Reaction of OH-radicals is extremely fast which allows almost immediate and very effective purification of water.
